• Implement the global & local Data Privacy policies, standards and procedures.
• Develop local policies or guidelines according to local laws and regulations to address emerging risks with different solutions.
• Follow “Privacy by Design” concept, design and integrate the function as a key business partner.
• Conduct Enterprise Privacy Risk Assessments to embed privacy requirements in new solutions and processes following the principles of “Privacy by Design”.
• Carry out third-party data privacy risk assessments and monitoring.
• Manage and follow up with Data Privacy matters, to enable successful navigation and compliance with company policies and applicable Data Privacy laws.
• Execute data governance policies and initiatives including data mapping, data quality and data sharing.
• Track and manage Data Subject Rights in end-to-end coordination across business functions.
• Keep up to date on current and emerging trends and changes in legislation within the area of Data Privacy and applicability to the organization.
• Compile and update an organized record of all compliance activities and maintain constant reporting.
• Design and implement appropriate training & awareness activities to secure policy adherence and awareness.
• Coordinate and cooperate with stakeholders to push forward the data privacy programs.
• Lead or participate other projects within or across departments.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or above degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiar with data privacy laws and regulations, experience in a data privacy compliance program.
• Good communication skills, excelled in interacting with external parties as well as internal parties.
• Fluent written and speaking English.
• High standard of professional ethics.
• Detail-oriented, self-disciplined and organized, able to manage and closely follow up multi-tasks.
• Proved project management skills and a contributing team member.
• 2+ years of experience in legal or compliance related field required.
• Prior experience in retailed or e-commerce industry preferred.
