The role is responsible for overseeing the standard, control, training & awareness programs relating to compliance in License & Permit. This position must work with Global team(GSME, Global Standard & Control Director, Global training & awareness team) to develop and enhance L&P related policies, processes and awareness programs to control the risks, and integrate these into the business to ensure compliance will be achievable.
Job Responsibilities
1. Standard & Control (70%)
• Collaborates with Global SMEs to develop and implement enterprise policies, procedures and controls, including drafting of relevant documents.
• Coordinates among the L&P team on policies, procedure and control development, revision and annual review, to ensure that they are designed with an understanding of how we will measure effectiveness.
• Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the integration of standards & controls into broader business processes (effective and efficient)
• Conducts and supports assessment and mapping of local market/operating business policies, procedures and controls against the requirements of Walmart’s global compliance objectives.
• Supports on compliance management system/maturity assessments, internal audit review and response, and standards & controls related action plans in response to audits, assessments, and monitoring.
• Works with Global Standards & Controls team on various initiatives effectively.
• Collaborates closely with Global Risk & Monitoring teams to ensure that effectiveness measurements inform approach to continuous improvement and monitoring
• Conducts assessments on the effectiveness of policies, procedures and controls. Drives a consistent approach and methodology and ensures we measure effectiveness on areas of highest priority.
• Conducts assessments on the efficiency of standards & controls, including the integration into broader business processes and the link between consistent execution of standards & controls and related business performance.
• Serves as dedicated L&P liaison to Internal Audit, partnering on all aspects on Internal Audit’s assessment of L&P programs.
Training & Communication(30%)
• Oversee the execution of all the global and market L&P training and communication programs for associates, management, suppliers and third parties; ensure the completion and effectiveness of ongoing L&P training and communication program and initiatives. Ensure the tracking and reporting of training completion.
• Proactively and creatively develop L&P training and communication tactics, plan, tailor-made training and communication programs, and ensure the plan is well implemented and achieve the goal with the leadership's supports and business divisions' cooperation.
• Review & revise the training content to ensure it align with updated global and market policies and procedures.
• Collaborates across Global Ethics & Compliance (including with Global SMEs, Training & Awareness, and Risk & Monitoring teams) to ensure that standards & controls are mapped to training & awareness and monitoring programs.
Job Requirements
-Bachelor Degree,Preferences for majors in Law, Public Relations, International Trade, Engineering, and English.
-5 to 8 years’ experience in licensing, compliance, government relation or retail business management.
-Strong work ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong sense of teamwork, and the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
-Excellent English and Chinese language skills.
