Achieve finance KPI based on the guidance of company merchandising policy and according to the category annual plan. Operate efficient supplier management, exact merchandise pricing orientation, set down and follow up variety of promotion and planning, seeking new items fit for market demands, continuously optimize merchandise assortment, supply chain, replenishment process and stock management, ensure to keep enough stock to increase ROI and to meet the target budget.
1. Responsible for sourcing and importing business in Japan and Korea.
2. Understands and applies knowledge of financial concepts, principles, and other relevant financial information to forecast expenditures; develop strategic and financial plans; and monitor category, subcategory, and item-level financial performance. Gathers comprehensive data and facts necessary to understand trends, explore issues, draw accurate conclusions, and develop recommendations. Uses analytical methods and tools to solve problems and issues. Utilize omni-channel data insight to guide data-driven decision making on item merchandising.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturers and the supply chain of interconnected businesses involved in the ultimate provision of product and service packages required by end customers considering omni-channel delivery efficiency and presentation to customers. Integrate activities across organizations in the supply chain by sharing information on inventory levels, anticipated productions, and material-in-transit. Balance supply with demand, considering both lead time and demand variability created by supply patterns not matching demand patterns.
4. On the basis of club model, achieves mutually satisfactory outcomes in negotiations with internal and external parties by understanding perspectives of all parties involved, and seeking common ground and collaborative solutions. Ensure member value through quality differentiation and price leadership. Improve club efficiency through PDQ, packaging alignment with suppliers. Manages disagreements and conflicts using diplomacy. Understands the regulatory process of negotiations in terms of company policies, procedures, values, and governing laws.
5. Demonstrates and leverages knowledge of products, brands, quality, markets, industries, manufacturers, and major suppliers to choose and develop right items that align and support overall business strategy online and offline.
6. Establishes and maintains meaningful relationships with key suppliers to identify buying opportunities and promote business growth. Communicates regularly and clearly and works cooperatively with suppliers to meet team and company goals.
7. Attend relevant trade shows domestically and internationally to support development cycle. Identifies gaps between current and future merchandise needs and develops innovative product solutions. Develop and implement a calendar to capture trends, mitigate risk, and determine timelines and milestones online and offline. Holistic approach (marketing, omni channel, operations, merchandising) to bring the item to life in the Club with sharp selling points and item stories to maximize member value.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree or above
3. Over 5 years experiences in retail or purchasing position.
5. Self-motivated, Solid integrity, demonstrate eagerness and passion when working.
6. Knowledge of merchandising, display, package, modular, fixture.
7 .Basic financial knowledge and know how daily activities and division affect financial performance.
8. Good negotiation skill and ability to develop and deliver presentation or communicate with others within or outside company.
9. The ability to set, implement and enforce priorities and plans to coordinate multiple work activities.
10. Take ownership of work activities and complete tasks accurately, efficiently and timely.
11. Practical logistic experience, implement and enforce by systematically sourcing and analysis.
12. Good versatility ability, adjust the way of working and when unexpected things happened.
13. Ability and willingness to generate or implement new ideas or recommendations to improve work efficiencies, productivity and customer service.
14. Cooperates and work well with others, actively participate in and contribute to team effectiveness.
16. Good command of spoken and written in Korean and English is a must.
