Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the end-to-end sourcing process from vendor development and management, price negotiation, product development to meet the on-time delivery, quality and commercial KPIs.
• Key driver of identification and development of potential vendors as well as maintaining a relationship with existing vendors to ensure they meet all requirements and drive vendor performance.
• Passionate to source new vendors and products and influence buying team to make decisions
• Keep abreast of latest market trend and update market information to share with management and buying team.
• Partner closely with cross functional teams to successfully enable product launches at scale.
• Leverage a thorough understanding of all globally approved suppliers to quickly match their capabilities with identified product opportunities.
• Support management and buying team to achieve company’s financial goals
Qualifications
• Degree holder in merchandising/ business manager/ English or related discipline
• Hands-on computer knowledge in MS word, excel, outlook, power point, etc.
• Minimum 3-5 years sourcing experience in hardline or Softline categories (include global and local merchandise)within at least one year managerial level
• Strong market/brands sense and knowledge in cost/selling structures
• Strong problem solving, sense of urgent, negotiation, presentation and organization skills
• Strong ownership mindset and logical agile of mind
• Excellent command in both written and verbal English.
