Responsibilities

1 Policy development and improvement

1.1 Establish and improve marketplace policy that provide management and operation control to reduce seller and legal risk and achieve regulatory compliance.

1.2 Build and improve operational standards of marketplace policy guidelines and internal Trust and safety policies, based on the marketplace seller needs and principles of local Compliance guidance.

1.3 Establish internal audit mechanisms and processes for ongoing monitoring of the operation of vetting process to the defined quality standards, including application vetting, seller appeal vetting, IP/Brand protection vetting.

2 Internal Audit

2.1 Establish internal audit mechanisms and processes for ongoing monitoring of the operation of vetting process to the defined quality standards, including application vetting, seller appeal vetting, IP/Brand protection vetting.

3 Team Management

3.1 Develop vision and roadmap for longer-term changes to operational capacity and staffing for policy and audit team.

3.2 Defining team goals and roadmap, including reporting on progress of multiple projects and providing weekly updates on trends and performance against goals.           

4 Communication

4.1 Facilitate the communication between Global T&S team, China Compliance Team, Marketplaces and third party sellers as required and handle all escalations related to third party sellers

4.2 Execute ad hoc requests from Global Trust & Safety as well as China Compliance teams



Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree from an accredited university/college.              

Experience

      Minimum 5 years of working experience including 3 year in risk management, merchant fraud, compliance, auditing, eCommerce Trust & Safety related areas.

      Proficient with technology, spreadsheets, CRM tools, and case management systems, Microsoft Office.

      Previous working experience in eCommerce merchant qualification review and auditing

Qualifications

      Fluency in English and Chinese (Putonghua) languages, excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

      Knowledge of Chinese Legal and Compliance regulation will be a strong plus.

      Excellent presentation skills, communication skills

      Strong time management and organizational skills, effectively prioritizes work time to ensure productivity and fulfills department standards for time spent.

      Strong analytical skills and understanding of utilizing data to make process improvements and solve problems Proficiency with databases, SQL and dashboard tools.
