Job Description

The SAP HCM support functional Consultant is responsible for analysing the Production issues with expert attention to all architectural qualities for an effectively working Human Resource (HCM) system. The Senior SAP HCM functional Consultant must have extensive experience in Analysing the defects with excellent functional and technical skills. Should be able to coordinate and work with the various stakeholders including business and work towards closure of the defect, while at the same time; work with technical support team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design.

Essential Functions:

*  Work with the business users / process owners, various other stake holder like, basis and security team to analyse the defects

*  Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the business, internal teams, and project managers to resolve issues requiring a focused approach to maintain project continuity and requirements.

*  Performs configuration (customising) work as needed to support new and existing functionality

*  Function as resident team expert for all configuration issues (both support and project) within their areas (modules) of expertise

*  Prepare functionality specifications and deliver to ABAP developers for break fixes

*  Responsible for understanding Functional Specifications followed by writing corresponding Detail Design Specifications

*  Responsible for developing high quality solutions based on completed Functional Design Documents

*  Responsible for reviewing the unit test plans and the quality assurance plans to ensure all requirements have been met

*  Work with the user community to determine the best solution to help resolve customer problems and satisfy customer requirements

*  Collaborate with the ABAP developers to develop and test significant new functionality and enhancements

*  Perform integration testing work as necessary to ensure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality

*  Provide oversight to various Projects and change requests to assess overall impact

*  Utilise Agile project methodology and tasks required for project support.

*  Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures, uses company standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work.

*  Analyse current business processes and make recommendations

*  Identify SAP solution possibilities and discuss with business users / process owner

*  Develop a specific SAP Solution from Blueprinting, Configuration, Testing and Production Support

*  Assist in the technical preparation of Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

*  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

*  Strong SAP HCM support experience

*  3-6 years of experience in design and configuration of SAP HR PA, OM modules

*  Preferred Education and Experience:

*  Knowledge of payroll

*  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*  Good logical and analytical skills

*  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

*  An ideal candidate will have minimum of 4-5 project support experience and 3 -8 years of experience as SAP HC functional consultant.

SAP Payroll functional support

The SAP Payroll Consultant is responsible for producing solution design, documentation and successful delivery of China Payroll with expert attention to all architectural qualities for an effectively working Human Resource (HCM) system. The Senior SAP Payroll functional Consultant must have extensive experience in configuring and custom development with excellent functional and technical skills. Should be able to work with the business to understand their needs and coach them on the appropriate solutions (capability consultant), while at the same time; work with technical support team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design.

Essential Functions:

*  Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the business, internal teams, and project managers to resolve issues requiring a focused approach to maintain project continuity and requirements.

*  Hands on Experience in China Payroll SCHEMA and PCRs

*  Performs incident analysis/root cause analysis as needed to support new and existing functionality

*  Function as resident team expert for all configuration issues (both support and project) within their areas (modules) of expertise

*  Responsible for understanding Functional Specifications followed by understanding the system configurations and payroll schemas and rules.

*  Work with the user community to determine the best solution to help resolve customer problems and satisfy customer requirements

*  Collaborate with the ABAP developers to develop and test significant new functionality and enhancements

*  Perform integration testing work as necessary to ensure that functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality

*  Provide oversight to various Projects and change requests to assess overall impact

*  Utilise Agile project methodology and tasks required during each phase of the implementation

*  Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures, uses company standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work.

*  Analyse current business processes and make recommendations

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

*  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

*  Strong SAP China Payroll knowledge

*  7-10 years of experience in design and configuration of Payroll

Preferred Education and Experience:

*  Experience in creating and defining custom operations and rules

*  Experience in defining user exits

*  Experience with year-end activities and support packs implementation

*  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*  Good logical and analytical skills

*  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: An ideal candidate will have minimum of 2-3 full life cycle implementations for Payroll and 7 -10 years of experience in supporting SAP payroll Projects.
